I am the owner of salty girl Oysters I am the daughter, wife and sister of Louisiana commercial oyster fisherman and also one myself. I grew up on an oyster and shrimp boat. My mother and father would bring me along on the boat as a baby, and as soon as I was old enough to work, that’s just what I did. my father enjoyed, teaching me everything and there is to know about Oysters.(In his Forrest Gump voice lol) Now I am a fourth generation oyster harvester. I am very proud to say I’m taking something I’m very passionate about, my family’s legacy, to the next level by establishing salty girl Oysters.
